Wear Rings
Manufactured in filled PTFE, they provide guidance for pistons and rods, preventing metal-to-metal contact.
ANGLE CUT
For oscillating movements
STRAIGHT CUT
For rotary movements
STEP CUT
For special applications
Filled PTFE wear rings help keep pistons and rods centred, preventing direct contact with metal parts. They can be made in PTFE filled with any material, though they are mainly bronze filled for hydraulic use and carbon filled for pneumatic use.
  • Self-lubricating and low friction;
  • Excellent sliding properties;
  • Wear resistant,
  • Reduce vibration;
  • Absorb peak stresses;
  • Compatible with all fluids usually used;
  • Resistant to high temperatures.

LINEAR LENGTH CALCULATION
Wear rings can be ordered by indicating the width of the seat (T), the radial thickness (W) and the diameter of the rod (B) or cylinder (A). In alternative to the diameter of the rod or cylinder, you can indicate the linear length , calculated as shown below:
WEAR RING FOR ROD
L= 3.11 (ØB + W) - 1.0
L = Length
B = Diameter of the rod
W = Radial thickness of the ring
WEAR RING FOR PISTON
L = 3.11 (ØA-W) - 1.0
L = Length
B = Diameter of the rod
W = Radial thickness of the ring
